Leslie Bennett is the music and dance librarian at the University
of Oregon. She is the head of the Music Services Department in
the Knight Library, and is responsible for the development and
maintenance of the Music, Dance, and Douglass Room collections,
as well as supervising the day-to-day activities and staff of the
Music Services Department. She provides advanced reference service
in music and dance, and co-teaches and coordinates the graduate
Music Research Methods course (MUS 611.) Other responsibilities
include serving on various library-wide committees where she is
currently serving as President of the Library Faculty, as well
as providing liaison with the School of Music and Dance.
